Jeripoca play music from Brazil while drawing on elements of world music and jazz to craft their sound. Audiences can expect an authentic Brazilian musical experience with rhythmic improvisation and harmonic sophistication. The duo is comprised of New Zealand’s own Ben Wilcock and Brazilian Vitor Ramos, both talented composers and multi-instrumentalists. They formed after Ramos moved to New Zealand in 2019, and have been performing as a duo around the North Island for over a year. Both musicians play a range of instruments, and these are showcased throughout their set. Jeripoca are perfect for cocktail parties, small and intimate corporate events, and weddings.
