As the owner of a busy pub with live bands every week, what I am looking for most is a band that can bring a crowd, give a good energy and get customers on the dance floor. Spektrum deliver all of this every time they play at my venue. They are great at getting the volume level just right, reacting to the crowd (especially when the party buses arrive) and playing great songs all night. Spektrum are always welcome at my pub!

I am a music promoter and open mic organiser in Christchurch. I've seen Spektrum play many times, in many venues, including hosting their first ever live performance at the Embankment Tavern. Their early gigs were remarkably professional, and they have now got so tight I can say without exaggeration that Spektrum are among the very best covers bands in the South Island. They have a great song list, adaptable to a variety of events from pubs and clubs to private shows, and they are proven dance floor fillers. What sets Spektrum apart from the other great Christchurch covers bands is their knack for knocking out banger after banger, particularly modern rock and pop classics. We have engaged Spektrum over the last several years for our Saturday afternoon shows at Bridies Bar in Christchurch. The band have the ability to read the crowd and are an interesting mix of musicians. They also bring their own following to our venue. I measure my bands against the till receipts, and they must reach my targets, in order to secure future bookings. Spectrum easily make these targets, and I have more engagements for them up till Christmas this year.
