Joseph Anderson is a consummate pro who has performed with a who's who of NZ music and an impressive list of international artists. Performing acoustically, Joseph's song choices are laidback and groovy, from Fat Freddys Drop to Bob Marley, Bill Withers to Dave Dobbyn. Joseph is ideally suited to relaxed background tunes, wedding ceremonies and chilled out afternoon acoustic tunes in the summer sun. Joe has performed as a sideman and recording artist with local talents such as Frankie Stevens, Midge Marsden, Ray Woolf, Larry Morris, King Kapisi and Holly Smith. Joe has also worked with world renowned drummer Steve Smith, Saxophonist Bob Mintzer, Trombonist Jim Pugh (Steely Dan), Trumpeter Clay Jenkins (Diana Krall, Count Basie Big band), British crooner Tony Christie, and American blues guitarist Chris Cain.
