Jasper and Jane Hawkins

Jasper & Jane absolutely rocked our QNN IGA conference! They made the night, sensational catalog of hits, that had everyone on the dance floor and singing along....so much so we begged them to stay for another set! We thank you for an awesome night that set the stage and tone for a great concert. 10/10.

Jasper and Jane played at our wedding in Nelson in January 2020. We booked them to play after hearing them do a gig at the boathouse in Nelson where they played combination of their own music as well as a mix of covers – their style was exactly what we were hoping for for our wedding and they played all of our music at the ceremony, as well as songs to begin our cocktail hour at the reception. We had so many comments from our guests saying that these two were one of the highlights of the wedding. They are extremely professional and friendly to deal with and were very patient as we went back and forth with various cover requests for our ceremony in particular! We couldn’t have been happier with how it all came together and we loved having this fabulous duo as part of a special day. Book them now!

Jasper played at our wedding at the beginning of April and we couldn't have been happier with how it all went! We saw him playing at the Matakana Markets one Saturday and knew he would be perfect to play during our ceremony and after while the canapés were being served. He went above and beyond learning new songs that I wanted in the ceremony and for my 'walk down the isle'. We've had so many guests tell how much they enjoyed the canapé part of our day and were so impressed with the variety of songs that Jasper could play and how he played solidly for 3 hours. Brad and I had our wedding at Mudbrick Winery on Waiheke Island. We were looking for a relaxed and romantic vibe to suit our outdoor ceremony, and Jasper came highly recommended. Jasper was the consummate professional from beginning to end. As we’d planned our wedding from Perth, Australia – we initially corresponded via email with song preferences for the ceremony. Jasper also provided some great recommendations for moments during the ceremony that we hadn’t previously thought about. During the wedding week, we met with Jasper in person at his studio. He had learned our song preferences and had been rehearsing in the weeks leading up to the ceremony. The track that I walked down the aisle to was Ellie Goulding’s ‘How Long Will I Love You’ which is written with a piano score. We were both so impressed that Jasper managed to learn this song from scratch, and re-imagined it for guitar. We loved his version, even more than the original! Jasper liaised with our DJ to ensure there was a seamless transition from the music to the celebrant. After the ceremony, Jasper continued to play a selection of music to give a celebratory ambience whilst photographs were being taken, and drinks and canapes were being served. He organised packdown discretely and efficiently. We had so many wonderful comments from our guests in relation to the whole vibe of the ceremony, and I’ve no doubt that Jasper had a great role to play in that. He certainly helped to make it a day to remember. We’d happily recommend Jasper to anyone looking for a professional, accommodating and extremely talented guitarist and vocalist.

We asked Jasper if he could do the live music for us, Jasper was very professional and met up with us prior to the day to discuss what we would want him to sing for the day. Our 9 year old daughter wanted To sing a song for us on the day, they didn’t practise together at all, Jasper arrived early on the day to practise this with her, he was truly amazing. Jasper exceeded all our expectations, he made our day extra special, the guests loved the fact that there was live music, All our guests commented how great he was.
