Based in Auckland, New Zealand, The Reputations take their cues from legendary soul and rhythm & blues shows of the 1960s and combine local musicians with those from San Francisco, Hawaii, Kingston and London.
We’re proud to be a part of the latest soul/funk revival sweeping the world and were born to testify that good dancing music never went out of style.
Take one house-special West Coast rhythm-section, grooved and layered with home-smoked organ over a pair of southern-fried guitars. Serve with market-fresh horns and our own style of sweet and mellow harmonies. Out front, maitre’dette, Mizz Meredith, tells it like it is. She makes each and every stage her very own soul kitchen and won’t stop until you give it up.
