Tango55 is a band that is unique to all others in NZ. Whether you are a Classical music lover or enjoy the music of South America; you like to dance tango or just prefer to create a lively atmosphere, Tango55's music will set the scene for any occasion. Piano, double bass, piano-accordion, violins and guitar - a combination of instruments that only Tango55 combine to bring you our unique Argentinian flavour. We also incorporate 'popular European' tangos that are well known and provide variation to our programme. Whether you require a 6-piece band or something smaller, our band is able to accommodate to suit your occasion.
For a more intimate occasion you may prefer a violin and guitar duo, which includes tango music as well as other jazzy Latin music.
The full 6-piece band may also be reduced to 5 players (no guitar), or 4 players (one violin only).

'Well, one thing springs to mind and that it's fact that the piano accordion chick was well hot! In all honesty, I thought they were really, really good...they seemed to have a decent range and the execution was top notch. I thought they were well suited to the time (before and after wedding ceremony) - it might have been nice to have them over dinner too...
