| DESCRIPTION |
We believe that music should be fun and entertaining, not merely proficient (after all, why do you think we call it ‘playing’ music?). We guarantee not to play polite cocktail jazz, whilst reading diligently from a Real Book and looking bored out of our trees. Passion and intensity, without blowing your head off!!
The band playlist includes classics by Miles Davis (All Blues, Freddie Freeloader), Herbie Hancock (Watermelon Man), standards such as Summertime and My Funny Valentine, a number of Latin-flavoured tunes (like Horace Silver’s Song for My Father and Chitlins Con Carne by Kenny Burrell), plus a smattering of original material, and classic pop/rock tunes given a jazz twist (for example Money by Pink Floyd).

| I just want to thank you on behalf of Agility Logistics Ltd for playing at our Brand Launch on Monday the 16th of July 2007. Although not an easy venue in terms of acoustics and setting sound levels we thought you did an amazing job of balancing between being in the background and also creating an atmosphere of performance excellence. I had a lot of feedback from our customers and suppliers about how good the band was. People were particularly impressed with the range of music you played and the gradual change from easy listening jazz numbers to fantastic well known classic songs performed with freshness and originality. |
