LAPSE OF REASON have been together for several years. We’ll be found most weekends gigging at weddings, functions and pubs in the greater Waikato. We are flexible with music and style and go the extra distance to ensure your event is successful!
Our playlist of nearly 100 songs gives us a massive range of styles, so we can adjust the list to suit the audience - from old Rock & Roll classics to modern progressive rock, classic radio hits, to 80's punk... the list goes on and on – we do plenty lot of Kiwi songs too!
Our equipment list is extensive, with a fantastic sound system, loads of lighting and even a smoke-machine.
We are also offer solo-guitar for weddings or functions - enjoy classical and jazz playing gently during dinner or drinks. If required we can also do 2 piece acoustic numbers to warm the crowd before the main act.
We are based in Hamilton but if you are out of town, we don't mind travelling within a 3hr radius.

Right from day one you have been awesome to deal with, you have made the whole wedding process so easy. We were stoked with your performance on the night, right down to helping us out at the last minute when our CD's didn't play and stepping in with some acoustic music for dinner!
Our guests, young and old, loved the music, as you would have noticed, 80% of the crowd was up dancing for whole night!
