Hi - my name is Guenter 'Grete' Fischer. I'm a guitarist from Germany with international work experience and reputation. For 39 years now I've been working as a professional musician, performing solo as well as part of a band.
As a passionate guitar-player I'm able to offer you the best standard in instrumental guitar-music - in any kind of style, for all kind of events.
Music expresses who we are and what we feel. Wherever your heart lies: Jazz, Blues, Latin, Classic and beyond - you name it, I play it.
My program includes more than 12 hours of the most varied live-music, played on various types of guitars, both electric and acoustic along with my own backing-tracks, if required.

We were extremely pleased with Grete's performance at our annual graduation and awards ceremony held in Auckland 2010. It was nice to work with a self-sufficient and relaxed musician, who came with all his own gear which was just right for the size of the room and the style of the performance. Grete was happy to work within our requests for particular styles of music, and his background playing during the ceremony, and than his playing during a musical interlude, was both very proficient and appropriate.
We would be pleased to have Grete back at a future event.

A few lines to thank you again for your superb concert on Friday.
You are truly a wonderful guitarist and master of the genre. Thinking about the concert the following day I was minded of a review written in the 1920's of a concert given by Miquel Llobet in Paris in witch the reviewer states:'...he (Llobet) never sacrifices musical taste for virtuosity...'
Probably the ultimate compliment for a musician and a sentiment I would wholeheartedly endorse with regard your performance here.
