Blue Collar Band mostly comprises 4 experienced, mature, male Musicians, and the Band is well known throughout the North Island. The Band has an extensive repertoire and perform Classic hits, Blues, Rock-n-roll, reggae and more. Instruments include two lead guitarists, bass guitar & drums with 3 strong lead vocalists. The Band was formed in 1999, has now recorded 5 CD's and regularly perform 2-3 nights per week mostly in Auckland, but also from Taupo to Kaitaia. The Band is well known in the Far North, Bay of Islands and many Coromandel Peninsula and surrounding towns. A female vocalist and female harmonica player are also available for additional cost. The Band perform at many of New Zealand's annual Jazz & Blues Festivals and perform regularly at Auckland Bars, private functions and birthday parties, Corporate functions, music festivals, clubs, and many others. Blue Collar Band own two PA sound rigs and choose the appropriate size for the venue/function. The Band is very conscious of volume level and always endeavour to perform at an acceptable level. Blue Collar Band also carry their own lighting & audio systems and supply music during breaks.
