Dynamic frontman, guitarist, vocalist, band leader and composer - Sam Allen burst on to the original music scene out of Auckland in 2012 with his well received single hit ‘Assurance’. Since then he has fronted the energetic and popular house band ‘The Beat Council’ at Sale Street (now ‘Sweat Shop’) in the heart of Auckland - wowing capacity crowds week after week with fantastic renditions of pop, funk, soul and groove covers and performing for high end corporate clients in solo, duo and quartet covers groups. He has since travelled internationally with his music.

“Tip-toeing the line between charmingly playful and painfully insightful, Sam Allen is a shining singer-songwriter based in central Auckland. Thanks to the inspiration that was derived primarily from John Mayer’s eloquent masterpieces, Sam’s style and skills evolved and his passion grew, leading him into a life of music. Any true fan of the acoustic genre should sample Sam’s melodies, and witness his performances, as Sam Allen will no doubt follow in the singer songwriter footsteps of our very best”.
