Somewhere between a band & a DJ, Applebite Lounge is lounge music at its best & most seductive! Featuring jazzy re-interpretations of famous film themes (The Godfather, Mission:Impossible, Pulp Fiction, Deer Hunter, X-Files, etc) along with original compositions inspired by films in general.
With a 3 hour live set of mainly original yet very accessible music, there is no better way to create an ambience of sophistication, elegance, & nostalgia than Applebite Lounge. The performance features Mardo on elec piano & backing vocals, accompanied by playback (sometimes accompanied by a guitarist/vocalist).
Mardo El-Noor was signed by EMI (Dubai) in 2000. With 4 full-length albums under his belt, he brings a long experience & a cosmopolitan outlook on music entertainment to New Zealand.
