Ambiance Strings: Fine String quartets, trios, duos and violin solos for all events, classical and jazz.
We have extensive experience with corporate and wedding events. Highlights include performances at the New Zealander of the Year Awards, playing the Hyatt/Pullman Hotel and Resort, the Waitakere Estate, Brigham Creek, Waipuna Hotel, the Hopetown Alpha, Wilson Trust Gardens, the Floating Pavilion, Settlers Lodge Waimuku, Auckland City Art Lounge, Mantell's Mt Eden, Rydges and the Navy Wardoom Summer Ball.

Various Ensembles
Quartets, trios, duets or solo violinist are available, plus the addition of other instruments or singers, as desired.
Our repertoire is listed below. It is wide and we can adjust our programme for each event. For weddings, most clients select short pieces for bridal entrance, register signing and couple's exit.
For other events, and the general entertainment of wedding guests, the players choose suitable classical music (and perhaps some jazz).
Pieces marked * are short enough to suit bridal entrances. Movements of quartets can also in some cases be shortened for this purpose.

Venetian Masquerade Ball - Corporate Event
The Ambiance String Quartet played for our guests as they arrived at a Venetian Masquerade Ball we recently held for one of our top corporate clients. Their talented string playing was really appreciated by the guests and was a wonderful way to set the scene for the rest of the event. Susan was easy to deal with and was there right on time.

Ambiance Strings was founded in 2006 and is organised by violinist Susan Davis.
The founding members and a large pool of reserve players can cover most events and requests. All players are all involved in orchestral and chamber music in the Auckland Region.
